What is the 75 Hard Challenge?
If you have found yourself here, I am sure you know, that the 75 Hard Challenge has been buzzing around the internet for some time now. Every other post I see shows someone documenting what day they're on, what they're eating that day, and how their workout set matches their yoga mat at the gym. However, its title offers no insight into what the challenge really entails. At first glance, you'll know...
- It is 75 days long
- It is hard
But let's be honest, we can't change the name to this challenge, it has quite the ring to it.
I digress... let's talk about what this challenge is about because it can seem very intimidating and I feel it is MOST important to get the real information before committing!
The 75 Hard Challenge is a mental and physical journey with 6 rules.
- Drink a gallon of water a day
- Stick to a diet of your choice
- No cheat meals, no alcohol
- Read 10 pages of a self-help book every day
- Exercise twice a day (one indoor and one outdoor workout)
- Take a progress picture every day
Oh! Now I got it! That sounds...scary, and awful and I am going to fail it on day 3.
That is okay! Challenges are supposed to be scary!
However, if this is something you are considering, here is the framework! Remember you are not alone and this challenge IS hard for a reason! No harm in trying!
